We typically hold 150 to 200 used cars in stock and sell to both retail buyers and the motor trade, from first cars under 5,000 pounds through to prestige and performance models. What separates us from most independent dealers is Prepworks, our own in-house preparation centre. Every car we sell is prepared there rather than sent out to whoever is cheapest, so we control the standard and the timescale. Every vehicle is health checked at Prepworks and prepared to a published standard before handover, and the full condition and health-check report is provided to the buyer for transparency. Cars are graded Retail, meaning under 12 years old and under 120,000 miles, or Trade. Retail cars receive a fresh major or minor service if the last one was more than 3 months or 3,000 miles ago, an MOT with every advisory fixed rather than left on the certificate, dents and stone chips rectified, alloy wheels refurbished where needed, and a full valet. Trade cars are MOT tested, serviced on the same 3 month and 3,000 mile rule, and function checked throughout. The Drivers Gallery is an AA Approved Dealer working to the AA Cars Standards, so every car sold to a private buyer comes with free AA breakdown cover for 12 months or until the first call-out, whichever comes first. Every car sold to a private buyer, retail grade or trade grade, also comes with three months of warranty cover from Warranty First as standard, with a claim limit of 750 pounds plus VAT and labour paid at 75 pounds an hour including VAT, and claims go directly to Warranty First (details and the claims process at driversgallery.uk/warranty/). Cars sold to the motor trade through trade sales are sold without warranty or AA cover. Where the workshop health check is complete it is published on the car's advert as a Prepworks vehicle health check document, listing every item checked, parts replaced and tyre and brake measurements. We offer part exchange, nationwide delivery, click and collect, online reservation, longer warranty cover on request and car finance.
